Karin writing+drawing letters

I've been putting together a letter for an old friend of mine today, it's not finished and I can't show you the whole thing anyway, neither can I enlarge it more, since I'm not sure if she reads this blog or not.

Åsa told me to scan and post pages from my scetchbook again. This I drew this weekend when Becka asked me to draw a "child friendly owl". Today I also made a dress, but I forgot my camera in Jönköping so I'll have to take the pictures at Frej's place or something.

I've been drawing and making collages in my notebook all day, practicing fonts in preparation of making a new logo for my site. The quote is by Thoreau; "I think that there is nothing, not even crime, more opposed to poetry, to philosophy, ay, to life itself, than this incessant business." Neither of the pictures scanned very well, the collage is embroided on my sewing machine.

My assignment was to make a self portrait of some kind. I didn't have much time to spend on it so it's just a quick drawing of how I look right now, with a calligraphy pencil. I'm wearing my favourite leopard hoodie and long johns and I guess I look somewhat annoyed because all sorts of stuff have gone wrong today.
